Indian Railways operate 200 Non-AC passenger trains daily from June 1. This 200 train is in addition to currently running Shramik trains and special AC trains. It is great relief to migrant workers around the country who locked due to Covid-19 pandemic . Booking of the train starts today (21/05/2020) at 10 AM.

Piyush Goyal, Minister for Railways of India tweeted yesterday that Railways has decided to further restore passenger trains from 1st June with strict precautions. Indian Railway had took the decision to partially restore train service in consultation with Ministry of Health & Family welfare (MoHFW) and Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA).

This is fully reserved trains. No unreserved ticket will be issued for this trains. General (GS) coaches also will be reserved as Second sitting(2S) and and its fare will be charged. No tatkal and premium tatkal ticket booking is not allowed on this trains. RAC and Waiting list ticket will be generated however waiting list tickets are not allowed to board on train. Advanced Reservation Period(ARP) allowed for the trains are maximum 30 days.

Press Information Bureau has published the list of 200 trains along with train name, number, origin, destination and running frequency. You can get list of trains from below given link.

Booking of the ticket can done only through IRCTC Website or through IRCTC Mobile app. Ticket cannot booked from any reservation counters or from railways station. IRCTC agents and Railway agents are not allowed to book the tickets.

Ticket booking will start at 10.00 AM today (21/05/2020)
