Income Tax Department of India mandates to link PAN Card with Aadhaar before 31 December 2019. Also recently Income Tax Department released a reminder on the same and said PAN cards not linked with aadhaar before 31 December will be inoperative. So all Indian citizens having PAN Card must link it with their aadhaar card. Dont’ think it as mammoth process, its very simple. Any one having internet accessible mobile/desktop can do this. Step 1: Open the link https://www1.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-FilingGS/Services/LinkAadhaarHome.html
Step 2: Enter your PAN Card number, Aadhaar number, Name, Fill captcha code and click “Link Aadhaar” button.
By clicking “Link Aadhaar” button your PAN Card will be link with aadhaar. Now you can check status of the linking instantly on income tax department website.
Note: If your name on Aadhaar card is not exactly matching with PAN, Your linking process may not be successful. At this scenario you have to correct your aadhaar.
