Public Service Commission published extra ordinary gazette to recruit men and woman police constable to Kerala Police Department. Available vacancies are 90 for men constables and 35 for woman constables. Required qualification for the post, physical fitness and other eligibility details are given below. This recruitment is only for scheduled caste candidates.

Educational Qualification
Pass in SSLC/Equivalant Examination
SSLC failed candidates will be considered in the absence of passed candidates.
Qualification will downward up to VII Standard if required number of candidates not available.
Educational qualification rule KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii will applicable to the post.
Physical fitness
Height for men: Minimum 160 cm (5 cm will be relaxed in absence of required candidates)
Height for women: Minimum 150 cm (It will downward up to 148 in absence of required candidates)
Vision: Candidate must certify that they have eye sight as per given below.
